  • Story behind the image:

    Prior to acquiring a panormaic back, if I was intersted in a panoramic style image it required taking a series of shots on multiple pieces of 4x5 sheet film. This requires quite a few technicalities to get the image just right. For this image, I was perched on the mesa with a shear drop-off to the canyon floor. I waited for sunset and exposed 6 pieces of 4x5 sheet film for an incredibly detailed image.
